Run 3 was supposed to be yesterday but it was dark cold and wet and Is had a bit of a day of it at work, so we played in the kitchen instead and had a lovely romantic meal watched a couple of films and went to bed
Interspersed with the above was odd bits of conversation like...”We have our longer run in the morning” and “we better go slow” and “shall we go round the other way?” you get the picture we are a bit boring about our running.
So today....we ran 35 minutes and weren’t far short of 4k so walked and by the time we had walked five minutes we were over 4k and i like round numbers (that’s a lie i hate numbers) so i carried on round the little river with a bit of walking and a bit of a jog until i had covered 5 k then went to join Willow in the car.
We did run slow we both ran constantly for 35 minutes and we both did some sprints in the last five minutes so feel happy
Roll on next week and have a great weekend runners

Thanks Floss, yes we do keep up strength and flex, it’s interesting the difference it makes, more spring in our feet no knee pain, backs and necks are pretty good considering my spine was crooked in 2 places due to shorter left leg, heel lift on left foot has made a huge difference
Sounds like you both had a great run, I've done the Ju Ju's Magic plan, the time based one, and it's a great feeling hitting that 60 minute mark. I'm going to be starting the distance based one soon, pushed to just under 6k today, but will start the plan properly before long.
Thank you, we are doing the timed one because we would be out all day when we get to the 10k week, I could plod on for longer but Willow is ready to stop at half hour so the plan gives us both something to aim for
Have fun with the distance one, we may do that in the future, i never knew it but i really like having a plan to follow
Thanks Debston i love running and could probably keep going til i dropped without Willow saying enough, we are usually happy to run after work but it’s been a bit of a week so the wait was worth it
