I am back at running. I started running 5 years ago and was able to run 5 km in less than 35 minutes. I stopped running 2 years ago because of neck pains and I really missed it. I am temporarily off work for stress whixh caused me migraines and vertigo and have started running again and I love it ! It helps me physically and mentally and hope to be able to run 5km in a month time.

Running is such a great thing to do for both physical and mental strength. Glad to hear you are back out there and very best of luck.

Running is definitely helping me get rid of my stress. I get a real sense of a achievement when I have been running. Thank you for the encouragement !

Sorry hear about stress and off work. Running and this plan will certainly get you back to running. You say a month, are you already following the plan or just running. The benefits of the plan are far reaching in injury prevention, support and structure. Do you also know about the strength and flex forum

I am back at running 4 weeks and able to run 12 minutes without stopping so I am happy with my progress. I will also look at the strength and flex forum, thank you for the advice!

Great you've come back to running and I hope it helps with the way you're feeling. Are you starting c25k from wk1r1?😊

Welcome back... enjoy these runs... The mental benefits are as important as the physical ones, for so many of us!

Welcome to the forum.

The guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... includes a link to an article about posture.

Avoid carrying anything in your hands while running...... this can create shoulder and neck tensions.

Enjoy your journey.

Thanks for the advice, maybe that's why I got neck pains before as I always carried a bottle of water.
