After almost a week off I got back into it yesterday and really enjoyed it - it was a challenge but actually got through the first half fairly comfortably.
Today I’ve got a cramping feeling in my upper thigh at the front. Anyone experienced this? And are there stretches I should be doing to avoid this? I have a history of calf injuries when I’ve tried running before so any stretch tips are welcome THANKS

Muscles need lots of water and oxygen to operate well. Is your hydration good? (2-3 litres a day, every day) what you consume the day before a run is even more important than on the actual day.
Good breathing technique is important to ensure that the oxygen gets to where your body needs it. Deep regular breaths. Ideally in through the nose and out through the mouth.
If you're keeping to a steady, conversational pace this should be possible, if not throughout, at least during some of the run.
Check out Strength and Flex forum for loads of great stretching for calves and quads 👍🏻
Thank you! My hydration has been off the past week, good tip on the day before as I drank plenty yesterday but probably didn’t the day before. And will check out the forum! Cheers ☺️
