Lost cms

I started C25K a month ago and weighed and measured myself. I’ve lost no weight but I’ve lost cms everywhere I measured including 8cms off my waist. I’m well pleased with myself. Motivation to keep going or what?!!! 😜

8cms off your waist in a month? Amazing! That's your runner's body emerging, well done. ☺

That's why it's best not just to rely on the scales as you've found out .

When I started I ditched my chocolate addiction and to date have lost over 3st and I'm a lot happier.

Definitely motivates us to run 😊😊

Just before Christmas last year I topped the scales at s shade under 15 stone. I'm now about 12 stone 10. When I started C25K in March I was struggling to fit into 36" waist jeans, now I have difficulty holding 34" jeans up (there's no way I'm attempting to squeeze into 32").

My resting heart rate is the lowest it's been in decades (typically around 55 bpm), I'm sleeping better, my mood has generally improved. Unlike Buddy34 , I still have my chocolate addiction, but I allow that on the grounds that I do need the odd "energy boost".

It's not too much of a stretch to say I'm not the same person I was at the start of 2019.

That’s wonderful! 😄🎉🎉 One of so many wonderful reasons to keep running. 😄

I feel a kindred spirit - a few days ago, I discovered a pair of smart leggings hidden away in a bottom drawer. (I had put them there, feeling fed up, because they were too tight.) They now fit perfectly! 😄
