Hello and welcome to the forum, the people on here tend to be very helpful and motivational so any issues, questions, etc, just post them up, just remember the first thing about questions:

"There is no such thing as a stupid question, only stupid people for not asking".

Feel free to use the forum as a running diary, recording your progress through the program and beyond, it does help as it allows you to keep track of your progress and something you can refer back to should you need it.

Happy running.

Hey!

Thanks! I tend to join various 10km fun runs but never do any training beforehand... I'd like to use this app to train to run properly and regularly.

Wow, do you really do the odd 10k run without training?! Don't you ache like crazy afterwards? Anyway, nice to see you on here, let us know how it goes!

Welcome aboard!

Please do read the guide to the plan. Proper training is essential if you want to run long term, injury free.

You're probably going to find the first few weeks easy but stick with it, part of the plan is also learning to do as we're told (I've always struggled with that) but it pays real dividends in the end πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ˜

Great effort, you need patience but by doing the times asked for you will be running 30minutes happily early in the new year giving you a great foundation to move on to enter all these 10k events In 2020 happy running
