I’ve just ran for 20mins without stopping!!! Quite surprised actually. The first 5min check point went by without really noticing it. Felt ok at 10 and 15. Started to feel it for the last few mins but knew I could push myself to the end. I feel confident I can complete the program now.

Congratulations to you Steve on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾 😊

Feels awesome doesn't it?! Did wk6r1 today, it was OK, but I am glad that people had warned me that it would be a bit odd! Well done on your 20 minutes! 🎊🎉🎊

Why did it feel odd? Is it harder to pace yourself after doing a continuous run then going back to intervals.

Yes, I went too fast on the first run, then felt a bit odd stopping (although I needed to by then!) then was difficult to find my pace again. I found after a minute or two in the 20 min run I had found the right pace to keep me going, but was a bit weirded out by the 5 minutes today!

Ah, I’ll bear that in mine when I attempt it.
