Graduation Day? After starting C25k in April, I got to the start of week 9 before being struck with hip bursitis. Put me out of action for weeks but started the program again in August, taking more rest days. Due to do my graduation run tonight but it's really wet and cold πŸ˜₯ Do I (wo)man up and just go for it or shall I hope for better weather tomorrow? In a moment of madness i signed up for a 10k this coming weekend so either run today, thursday then Saturday or just tomorrow then wednesday?

Oh my you do like putting pressure on yourself - 10k wow, read your body, you could always wrap up really well, protect your chest and run slowly to graduate but risk setting back recovery, or count 1st 30 min run of your 10k race as your final w9 run, you could then walk the rest of the course. Dont overdo it. Take care.

Definitely go out tonight for your graduation run you'll be glad you did. Now going from 5k to 10k in a matter of days is not so good . If you can break it down into walk/ run segments you may do it but don't do to much running as you could end up with an injury that could put you out of running for a while. Good luck 😊

Thanks for the tip. I just got back, did it!! As for the 10k, will run the first 5 then walk the rest I reckon.

Congratulations on completing C25K, the girl can do it, the girl just DONE it, congratulations.

To get your graduation badge and the word GRADUATE πŸŽ“ next to your username leave a message on the October graduate post in the pinned posts on the right side of the healthunlocked C25K home page and tell the administrators that you have ran W9R3 of C25K and graduated πŸŽ“ πŸƒπŸΎ πŸ‘

Be careful regarding that 10K, yes, you may have to walk a good part of it, like C25K, you should gradually build up your distance before running a 10K.
