I will run a 5K on Wednesday morning, this morning I went for a 10K walk, the photo is part of that walk. π
Lovely walk: I will run a 5K on Wednesday... - Couch to 5K
Lovely walk
Lovely pic, AlMorr! Perfect day for a long walk in the countryside. If the weather stays dry, I will go for a walk tomorrow morning, probably not as long as 10k though!
Depending on the weather, etc, tomorrow I may go for a little walk and scout out a few more running routes.
I hope you enjoyed the 10k walk, I can think of some lovely places in Scotland that I'd like to do that but alas, the Scot's hate the English
I do NOT hate the English, you are welcome to come to Scotland at any time.
I know AlMorr I regularly have a bit of banter with the Scots I know, I love Scotland, I was reminded of the beauty of it when I went up to Fort William to do some work last year, the scenery on the drive up was brilliant, I still have the dashcam footage somewhere.
I'm from Scotland and I don't hate youππ . One of my favourite places is Oban and they have a parkrun also
I need to get Mrs LeeU to the end of the program and get her up to 5k and through a couple of Parkruns here, I may then talk her into a little bit of ParkRun tourism.
Beautiful AlMorr. Hope you enjoyed your walk ππ
I did indeed Buddy34, you may have gathered by now that I go somewhere a bit far away from where I live on a Monday, not too far, last week it was Loch Lomond, today it was Milngavie, next week, Drumpelliier Country Park, I have been going those different places on a Monday since I retired, including when I was doing C25K, Monday was the third day of my running "week," I ran run 3 of week 5 around Linthgow Loch, my graduation run last year on a Monday was ran along the promenade at Helensburgh, so Mondays are 'away days' for me. You enjoy the rest of the day as well ππΎ π
Beautiful walk by the looks of it. Great work.
Lovely photo, and a lovely day for a walk π
Yes it was πΆβοΈππΎ5K run for me this week on Wednesday and Saturday morning. π
Good luck with the 5kβs though Iβm sure you donβt need it
Wednesday morning, 5K run near where I live, on Saturday I will be running at Dunfermline, its there 200th Parkrun.
I hope there'll be cake to celebrate!
They had a nice cake on their 4th Parkrun birthday, not sure if they will have a cake for the 200th run, just have to wait and see, if there is a cake stall I'll try and get through the run a bit quicker than usual to make sure I do get a piece of cake before it's eaten by all the gazelle fast sub 25 minute runners.
Just gorgeous!! Makes one glad to be alive and out there! π
Looks really lovely!
It is, I have known that place since the early 1960's when I used to cycle along it, there have been no changes in all that time, just out of camera shot there is a 'ford' where cars have to go into the water and back out again, pedestrians have a short side walk at the side of the road to avoid getting their feet wet, not too many of them around now a days.
Lovely photo. I hope this sunny weather lasts a little longer! π
