Brisk walk?

Went out early this morning and did week 5 run 2. It went ok but the 'warm you up walk' was more like a 'freeze your (insert body part of choice) off' walk. The cool down walk was aptly named though.

This made me smile... :) Yes, the mornings, from now on can get chilly to say the least.. it was not too bad here first thing, round about 7 degrees...

I have not got my gloves out yet...:)

Well done you... loving those Sunday runs!

I bought a pair of Aldi running gloves yesterday but it will have to be really freezing before I use them - I get warm so quickly and hate all the clutter in winter. But - winter is coming!

😅😅😅😅 , yea it was chilly I was in vest and t shirt as was doing the dreaded 20 min run and knew I'd be hot stuff by the end of it , which I was , huffing and puffing but got there. Actually covered 2.5 k in the 20 min run so my God , freezing 'body part ' so worth it .

Best of luck with run 3 , row with husband helped about something I apparently took the time to hide on him!!!! , when actually he put it away .... So I pounded away and feel great after it 😡😡😡

You soon get used to it! You acclimatise real quick. It's another amazing thing about this running lark, that we harden up weather wise. I seem to run on hot all the time now despite being much thinner than I was. I keep turning the heating off 😊

I do a warm up in the house before turning out for the brisk warm up walk so I am smoking hot before opening the door

Yep, I'm following your advice and starting my warm up in the house these days. Makes a big difference when it's flippin' freezing first thing in the morning. Good tip MissW :)
