Take it easy. Dont make yourself worse by coming back too soon.

Take care, and I hope it goes well if you go for it.

So frustrating, I know, but look after yourself, get better, let your body focus on fighting the cold. Play the long game!

Rest and get rid of that chesty cold, don’t run if your chest hurts you are wheezing or coughing, running will be better for the rest

Get better soon you will know when you are well enough to run

Just had that myself, just before starting wk5! Be careful with a chesty cold, at least be able to take some good deep breaths without coughing before starting again. your body will tell you when it is ready to go back so listen to it! And I hope you feel better soon.

As others have said. Just had the same thing. My voice was a bit croaky and felt like I had a persistent frog in my throat for a couple of weeks but otherwise felt healthy and full of the joys of Spring (well Autumn). Then bam!! woke up one morning with no voice at all (literally couldn't speak, let alone do any singing) and chest infection. I coughed and wheezed until my ribs hurt every day for 2 weeks. Then started improving each day. Today my chest is fine, my voice is nearly back to normal and I feel completely healthy so will be restarting running again next week after 3 weeks off. So be prepared that it could be a longer haul than you might think at first and make sure you feel fit before heading out again.
