Having started the Couch to 5k 9 weeks ago, I’m really pleased to find this app!
I’m now back on week 7, having been diagnosed with Asthma 2 weeks ago (I thought I was struggling!). Really enjoying it! So close to 9 weeks. Wish I had you lot when I was ready to give up. Asthma was the prognosis, and I wasn’t THAT totally unfit!

It’s great is t it? I also have asthma, but find that it is greatly improved now I’m used to running regularly, still need the occasional inhaler but mostly not required now.
Hi Sunflower-Days ...guess what? We're all glad you found us too!!! You are doing brilliantly to get to week 7, what an achievement?!! I also have asthma, I developed it around the time that I started running, at first I thought it would hinder me, but as long as I remember to have my inhaler before I go, especially now it's getting colder, I am fine and I'm sure you will be too! You will be wearing your well deserved graduation badge before you know it, well done
Great post from you Sunflower Days, I am sure you will certainly complete C25K very soon, glad that you are enjoying your running, onwards and upwards, you ARE totally fit, good luck for your graduation run in two weeks time, I also like Wenderwoo will cheer you on. 😊 🏃🏾
My wife also has asthma, she's just finished week 6, she's mixing doing the runs inside and outside, if it's really cold she'll run on the treadmill, if it's not too bad out, she'll go out and run.
We're aiming to do week 7 run 2 outside on Saturday but she'll, hopefully, be doing week 7 run 1 tomorrow inside.
Goodness me! Thank you all for your wonderful comments! I feel more motivated than ever! Not only do I not want to let the teenagers down, I don’t want to let you fellow C25K’s down ! Thank you all! I feel totally overwhelmed. 🌻😊🌻
