Today was difficult to get started as I was achy from doing too much yesterday (recovering from knee op) but that didn’t stop me.Off I went and took it slowly and I’ve only got one more to do and I’ve finished week 1 😀.Im very determined to get back to full heath and this is really good for my mental heath too.
Even manage to find a fairy 🧚🏻♀️ door on my way round the woods.

Well done for completing your second day. C25K is a brilliant programme and helped by the wonderful support on here I'm amazed to find myself becoming addicted to it, I never was a runner even as a child, so this is quite a shock! Taking things slowly is certainly the way to go (and a lesson I had to learn when I started) and making sure you rest properly on the days in-between too is important. I am also upping my water intake which I think too is helping (7 days a week, not just on running days), I'm not yet up to the 2 - 3 litres a day yet, but I'm working on it. Keep posting your progress on here, we all want to know ho well our new found friends are doing, and as you say, it is not just our physical health which benefits from this.
