Awesome... first milestone hit.

Wk1 is now history.

Well done!

Congratulations to you Sydney7 on completing week 1 of C25K, to some people week 1 is the hardest, so glad that your grumpy knee is as you say 'behaving', onwards and upwards to week 2, remember if you have any problems with any runs you can repeat it, good luck.

Great knee is still holding. Well done. Gentle stretching and water - keep up these end of run habits.

You’ve spurred me on. I need to do my W1R3 today too but will be at lunchtime. Congratulations & I will be following in your footsteps - hope it stays dry 🤞.

Yay - I’ve joined you in the week 1 done club 🌟. I found today harder than run 2 but the way this week has fallen there has only been one day recovery between all three runs. Next run will be at the weekend so should be good to go by then. Good luck with week 2 - I’ll be thinking of you 😊

My back began twingeing again which is what happened a couple of weeks ago. So rather than stop, rest & repeat week 1 AGAIN, I have notched it down with doing week 2 of the None to Run programme. This gives me intervals of 1 min running with 2 mins walking & I’ve managed 3 runs with no problem. Their week 3 is the same but for an extra 5 mins. So along with glute exercises I’m going to splice these programmes together making smaller steps between weeks. I’m not bothered if it takes me 6 months or more to get to 5k I just want to keep moving & avoid injury. Good luck 😉 with your weeks too.

I feel the same way, just finished w2r3, knee holding up really well, but definetly not pushing as hard as I did first time round. Just happy to be back out there running ... well, slow jogging 😆

Slow - I know what you mean. My husband commented on Wednesday “I see you’ve been running again” when he saw trainers drying out. I had to resist the temptation to say, “well, more walking actually.” but if I don’t start to think of myself as running how can I expect anyone else to? so I just said “yes” 🤣. It’s all in mind. Good luck We can do it 🌟
