Due to holidays last week decided to run week 4 again, run 2 today felt fine. Plenty water drank daily, no cramps of tightness of the legs. Onwards to Friday for next run

Staying hydrated is also important so well done on that front too, it’s easy to forget the water. I have a bottle of water on the worktop that I keep refilling so that works for me. Let us know how you get on with your next run
Definitely going to try and keep to the plan, hit 55 this year and semi retired. So its all about keeping fit and healthy now. So I dont have any excuses as I have plenty time. The water thing I struggle with so I need to discipline myself with that. Keep you all posted how I get on
I confess that I always over do it ...BUT.. I always stretch after...LOTS it helps so much - I used to play squash then spend 3 days hobbling around the house hardly able to walk, then tried stretching before/after and have never looked back. Plenty of water is also a must.
