Did this this morning using the podcast, and enjoyed the addition of the music - it seemed to help with pace. Didn’t struggle too much and increased distance covered slightly. I dug my Gear watch out and loaded Strava to measure the last 2 runs, and find the stats quite motivating. And of course the fabulous support on here helps immensely! Thanks 😁

Well done Wenderwoo. I also did run 1 this morning and after my experiment with the podcast on Saturday, I went back to the app this morning as I wanted to use that to confirm my progress. Although I had the instructions of when to run and when to walk etc. I didn't hear the half time - turn around bell (but thought it was about time, so had just rotated). Then when I got home found that I couldn't save the run anyway, it was asking me to start the process. Never mind, I know I did it, plus I recorded it with Map my Run as well. Run two Wednesday or Thursday and hopefully run 3 on Saturday...
Just finished W2R1 as well...congrats! I’m definitely not a natural runner but it was actually easier than I thought so it hasn’t put me off. Will wait until month end though before I weigh in. Good luck with R2.
