Being new to running I'm not only enjoying the physical challenges of running but also loving reading all of your inspirational comments on the forum. Another huge benefit for me has been jumping out of bed and throwing on my running gear ready for a run rather than lying in bed overthinking and over worrying. Having recently retired I've found more time for worrying but this programme is really helping me find a way to be more positive and calmer in everyday life. For this I'm so grateful. Thank you everyone.

Good for you Running-Girl!

I too have found that I'm outrunning my "Black Dog". This running lark seems to be good for you in every direction :)

There is evidence that running leads to calmer minds. That is, less busy and ruminative. So enjoy the physical and mental benefits of your efforts😁

Well done! As an anxiety sufferer myself I found the running has to be kept up, now how do I know this? I found running to be a real boon when I took early retirement and was starting to put on weight due to being less active..and of course also good for the mind.. 😊
