Missed a week but it's ok!

I had to miss last week, what should have been week 4 because rheumatoid decided to say hello, but managed to complete week 3 run 1 again today. I feel like I've got the running bug again now. I wasn't looking forward to it as I couldn't achieve the last 3 minute run on week 3 a couple of weeks before, but just went for it today! Running on the treadmill is easier, so I want to build my confidence and staminer running outdoors more often. I wish my trainer didn't tell me I've got 60 seconds left though! I would rather not know! I just want to keep going until the time is up! Onward and upward!

Massive well done for getting back , I hurt my lower back so also had a break at week three but am now at week five. Keep up the great work 🏃🏽‍♀️❤️ and yes 😂😂😂 the ETERNAL last 60 seconds, I think I’ve sworn out load in the park at Laura when she says only one min left 😂😂😂😂

I graduated last week and although I loved Laura through most of the course it’s great to just run. You are both doing great work. Happy running

Thank you! Haha!! I dread the 'You're doing great, only 60 seconds to go!' I was doing great, now I'm counting down the 60 seconds I wished I only had 15 seconds of! 🥵😂 It's not helpful! Thanks for the encouragement and well done to you too! Let's keep moving! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️👍👍

I sometimes On the longer sections then get a “your halfway” comment expecting it to say 60 seconds, in my head “seriously Laura ?” or the music starts coming to an end and I start slowing only for another track to kick in. Argggh 😳🤯😀These psychological battles really can add to the strain 😂😂😂🏃🏽‍♀️😀nothing beats that happy feeling once it’s done though. I have been know to actually fling my arms up in the air with glee. Just wait till the graduation run .... when the hot 🥵 sweaty 🥵 middle age woman screams with joy and probably also cry 😂😂😂😂😂🥇

Haha! I haven't dared look ahead to any of the other weeks, omg, I just can't already! Tackle each run at a time. I felt quite comfortable (she says with optimism) with todays second of three week 3 runs, just want to get the last one done and I can look forward (from behind the sofa) to week 4....yay! I'm saying yay in a suspicious tone! 😂🏃‍♀️👍 Keep at it! We can do this! 🤛

I’m doing run 2 week 5 tonight and super excited about it ❤️🏃🏽‍♀️❤️ have all the runner gear on the sofa waiting for me when I get home. I’ve definitely found my pace now, it just magically clicked. I won’t add any spoiler alerts but week 5 run three is super exciting. I’m saving it for Friday night along the seafront at sunset 🌅🙌🏃🏽‍♀️🙌 🏃🏽‍♀️enjoy your next run , I loved week 4 🏃🏽‍♀️ it made me feel super strong ,oh and in my euphoria Ive registered and downloaded my Parkrun barcodes. Not sure really when I’ll be confident to run with 250 ish other people but I’m getting ready early. 😀🥇😀

Wow, good for you, that's brill! How exciting! I think today's run was probably the first time I actually held more control on my breathing and that's half the battle! Once I've got that, I'm hoping I'll be fine! Enjoy the smell of the sea and the sunset! 🏃‍♀️👍☀️
