Back in Dubai after a short weekend, didn't run either Saturday or Sunday and was too tired to run last night.
But today is a different day! I headed down to the gym after the 1.5 mile walk back from the office.
I'd left the chest strap for my Garmin at home but I was fine.
Another 30 minutes with 2.3 miles covered.
It was quite interesting in the fact there was someone on one of the other treadmills, looked about 9 stone when wet through, they got on just before I started running and even though I had some music playing through the Bluetooth headset I could hear their feet hitting the treadmill. At one point I thought it was me but it wasn't.
They finished before I did and in between songs I could hardly hear my feet on hitting the deck.
May have a play on the cross trainer tomorrow and a little swim in the morning, after all, it would be rude not to.
Happy running everyone.

Congrats on the Graduation Annie, bet you were beaming after that last run. Swimming this lunch time as working from the hotel and then maybe the cross trainer this evening.
Great you fitted in another 30 minute run and yes have a go on the other equipment while you're there. Must be some difference in temperature going from Dubai to UK then back to Dubai. 😊😊
Thanks Buddy, not much of a difference really, 35-38 degrees in Dubai, 8-12 in the UK, virtually the same really
When I'm either heading to the airport or flying back in I have a thick jumper and a coat with in my carry on, just in case but, if I'm honest, I do tend to just about run from the terminal to the car park where the car is sat, already warmed up for me.
The only reason I'm running in the gym is because it's air con'ed, if it wasn't I would try outside, others do run in it, I would give it a go, take 3 gallons of water with me and just plod on.
All credit to you walking back from the office.... I lived in the UAE for 5 years and struggled to walk from the car to the mall in the heat Enjoy your swim
