Inspired today by Coach Bennett on the Nike Run App and Just A Run, no more no less, just got out there and ran 4.6km in 40 mins, not fast but having put on 1.5 lbs at Slimming World this week (must be the Custard pies I’ve made after Bake-off - not kidding!!) I thought I’d just get out there after a hiatus of a few days.

Ooh custard pies are they the same as custard tarts ? Glad you enjoyed your run. 😊😊

No actually they’re not. Custard pies have creme patisserie poured into a baked sweet shortcrust tart base then decorated and I dread to think the number of calories!

Good for you Coolcookingteacher ….sounds like just what you needed?!! I love bake off but ohhhh it makes me want to bake...even though I've had a couple of disasters this week which Oldfloss and Hidden can vouch for!!! haha...

I often get spooked that he’s actually watching... uncanny knack of knowing how I’m doing and what I’m thinking.

Yes! I think the different runs are great from Don’t want to run run to longer 10k runs haven’t tried any Mo Farrah ones yet! 😉

I ran with mo in week 9, another good one.

I’ve done the 10k one, highly recommended... but I’ve missed the last 11/12 guided runs as I’m on a half marathon plan, this means I get to try them all in November though!
