Boring Treadmill

Hi All

I have been using the NHS C25k App for a number of years - on and off. I am currently on Week 7, the furthest I have been so far! I tend to stretch the weekly runs into a whole month and therefore I have been on this plan for the past 7 months!

Now that the runs are getting longer I find it difficult to keep my mind occupied. So what did I start doing? I started reading books on my kindle on the treadmill. LOL. I have done it a few times now and I must say...I wish I had done it earlier in the program. Now, whilst jogging, my minutes fly by without me realising - as well as catching up on my reading - and I am loving it!

So my little tip to break the mindset for long runs would be try reading a story on your ipad/kindle on the treadmill.

Audio books may work well too. You can download them from your local library for free

I don’t think that I could possibly read and run... but whatever works or you is good!
