Ran a half marathon #rundisney

Started c25k in April, pushed through and was able to run 21.2 k last weekend. I'm starting to believe those who said running was their addiction.

Ending the journey of Couch 2 21K, maybe a 42k race next year :)

10 k is amazing, such an accomplishment! In my experience, when I was capable of running 10K it was relatively easy to run 15k. It was getting to running 5-7K that was so very difficult.

I also started around that time but due to injury needed to take time out and just re-started progressing from 5 to 10K again today. Interesting to hear where you’ve got to (and where I may have been). Well done on the half marathon!! And good luck with your future running and yes I agree it’s addictive 😀

oh injuries getting in the way can be so frustrating! It's been dedicated slow process, but definitely not linear, and sometimes taking weeks off to come back stronger. But your body will tell you what it can and cannot handle. I felt like once you're passed 7K injury free, your body can make pretty impressive leaps of endurance and distance.

I got all the way to 11k until I got my first injury. All good at the moment so crossing my fingers that now I have special insoles that won’t get injured again. Was Jul when I stopped so although enjoying running not enjoying the dark mornings 😮
