It is done and I have never been so tired! The parkrun experience was great and everyone was so supportive with one lady jogging beside me while I did my 5 min warm up walk however the running part was TOUGH fighting against the wind!
These little legs did me proud today pushing me forward when every gust was trying to send me back to the start. Unfortunately this lasted until 4km into the route so almost all of my running time as I was half way through my cool down walk when I hit the finish tunnel so had to keep walking a bit longer.
Not sure running in the wind is for me!

All going to plan I will be graduating on the 8th October and then my aim is to run the whole 5k at Parkrun the following Saturday at my slow and steady pace however if it is windy then I may volunteer as a marshall instead!
