I completed W2R3 yesterday morning. Oh my goodness I felt so sluggish, it was truly a Sunday morning struggle, but I DID IT! I think it was a case of 'the morning after the night before' to be honest, I rarely drink alcohol but had enjoyed a few ciders on Saturday night. I think I must have been dehydrated, my mouth was dry, I felt hot and generally felt below par. I think I'll avoid alcohol the night before a run in future!
So today is my rest day, and then I am on to week 3. I am nervous about 'doubling up' the running time from 90 seconds to 3 minutes. Did anyone else worry that this was quite a jump? Can anyone reassure me that I will be ready for W3R1? I am in need of some friendly encouragement...

You were probably dehydrated after drinking alchohol. Don't worry at all about the next run. All the runs up until now have prepared you for it. Well done you 😊
I remember being a little nervous about increasing from 90 seconds to 3 minutes, don't worry about that, better not to drink the night before you run. 🏃
You'll be fine - next time you run you'll be fresh and rehydrated! Trustthe plan - it's worked for me and thousands of others and it will work for you. Keep it slow and steady and you'll smash it
