I have tried several time to do the 5k but always have the same problems. Depressed feeling the day after exercise and can not sleep. Has anyone experienced the same issues?

Sorry to hear about these problems! Do you only experience this with running or at other times too?

How far did you get with the program?

Hopefully if you fill us in a bit more we can maybe help you through this.

Thanks for sharing your story & one senses you would still like to pursue running?

If you are feeling like this a visit to your doctor will be the best thing to do. Good luck 😊

I agree with this, especially if this is unusual for you.

Do you have a sense of achievement or even run euphoria right after completing a run? How long after the run do you start to feel depressed?

Can it be because you don't like running?

Would other sports trigger it, too?

Also, do you run indoor or outdoor? Many people find it boring (depressing?) to run on treadmill.

I don't experience that but when I was younger and went swimming (maybe other sports, too), I found it difficult to sleep that day. But not depressed.

Not what you're looking for?
