ref my post of a minute ago, I meant to say maybe having MORE THAN one rest day was counter productive

As stated in the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... you lose next to no condition in the first two weeks of non running, so a two day break is not going to be counterproductive............ generally the opposite for a new runner.
