1st run went surprisingly well the day before yesterday, had my rest day today but did go for a nice walk. My foot has been sore since my run I have had plantar fasciitis before but not for a long time!! Wanted to do run 2 tomorrow but don’t want to make it worse, been rolling it on a foam roller and using an ice pack. Feeling a bit rubbish as I’ve only just begun 🙁

Do some light calf stretches too as it can be the calf muscles that cause plantar fascitis.

I suffer with a little plantar fasciitis, havent had major problems with it until recently (graduated now and running without the app). I would say make sure you are taking your rest days, also be sure to land on the whole of your foot it really reduces impact, finally make sure you have supportive socks (I got some great ones from home bargains) and your trainers fit well. I often find I have sore feet on an evening or morning but as the day goes on it eases, if it doesn't ease i have a rest day.
Good luck. Xxx

Agree with everything said before and just a bit of encouragement that I really struggled with plantar fascitis in one foot for the first 4 weeks of the app, some mornings struggled to put any weight on it and hobbled about, but as the weeks went on it settled and is not an issue and I have my graduation run on Monday! So obviously dont push yourself but hopefully it will settle down as the weeks go on.
