I should have started week 9 last night but after Wednesdays run the top of my foot is sore especially when I lift my toes up. I can put my weight on my foot so I don't think I've done any real damage. Does anyone have any advice in how to speed up my recovery?

Oh no, bad timing. Can't offer any advice except the usual RICE. A few days off at this time in the programme won't affect your fitness, so relax and get well soon

That's tough luck Lou. Just take it easy and try out a little run in a few days to test it out.
Fingers crossed it's OK, but definitely not worth risking damage. Better to take a few extra days rest if needed.
That sounds what happened to me at week 4, I used some ibuprofen gel and changed the way my trainers were laced, lucky enough to the ache passed so I could carry on, it's so easy to get an injury, I would rest and make sure it's not sore before setting out for your week 9, 😊
