So I got a very snazzy pair of running shoes yesterday in Run4It. I had the gait analysis done (I’m officially an overpronator) and tried on a few different pairs. I went with the pair that felt the best and that the guy in the shop said suited my stride and gait the best.
Just back from my first run in them (w8r1) and my feet and calves feel quite tight and stiff. I’m hoping it’s just because my legs and feet are moving slightly differently due to the added support and I’ll get used to it and that I’ve not made a (rather expensive) mistake!

Thank you, they did say that they can’t refund/exchange should that have been worn outside so I wore them round the house for a bit last night and they were fine. If it happens again next time, I’ll go in to the shop and try my luck.
