Hey everyone, I’ve finished my W1R3 this morning, shins where hurting a little into it and felt bit sick after even though I had my cereal and coffee as I usually do. But completing week one put a big smile on my face! 😁

Great you've completed wk1. When running try to land lightly and not thud thud. Also sometimes feeling sick can be caused by going too fast. Just takes practice. Well done you 😊😊

Ah right I did go a bit faster at the end so maybe that then. Thank you 😊

I had the same issues particularly with the shins and it kept getting worse until I bought myself some compressions for my lower legs - super cheap off amazon! Made my runs much more enjoyable. Well done for completing week 1!!

Excellent!! 🎈🌟 Start off week 2 nice and slowly & see if this helps nausea. It will certainly help in other respects 😀

Really well done - don't push too hard, there's no rush!

good luck with splints - I think a lot of people have pain in various parts in the first weeks - I certainly did - but as you build up strength in your legs, it seems to tend to go away. Just go slowly. Happy running.

Well done.

If you are getting painful shins do all you can to minimise impact, as described in the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
