🀣No, I didn’t run to the sound of music! However W7:1 was my best run ever. I knew I could do it. I planned it with the sunrise over the sea. The tide was in, waves crashing on the beach, the light was exquisite & the smell of the salt air filled my lungs. I just relaxed into a slow gentle rhythm, savouring the moment until the last minute when I was able to sprint to the end.

Now for that glass of water!

Not as much fun but you can be anywhere in your imagination 🎢 and you are running!! That’s the main focus.

Running at the side of the sea, damn, living in the middle of the country does have it's draw backs I suppose.

Glad to see you are enjoying it and smashing the runs too, not long now until you graduate, you got this.

Remember:

If I can run for 25 minutes then I can run for 28,

If I can run for 28 minutes then I can run for 30,

If I can run for 30 minutes then I can graduate.

Feel free to change the times after you've graduated, I still use this when I'm pushing the run times out, it's got me to 60 minutes so far.

Excellent thought process LeeU thanks!! Country runs are beautiful too especially if you pass blackberries 🀣

LeeU profile image
LeeUGraduateβ€’ in reply toAnnieapple

I have a blackberry bush at the bottom of my garden, the grandkids found it and came in covered in crushed blackberries, I thought it was funny, MrsLeeU was concerned they had eaten some elderberries or something else.

My transition to running outside should have started today but I'm not running, I need to get rid of this cold first, so if I'm feeling better tomorrow I may run in doors and then pop out early Saturday and do a run outside.

Sounds wonderful! Well done! It’s wonderful to run outside and feel at one with the world.

I’m still to begin Week 7. I planned to go this morning but other stuff got in the way (like taking the dog to the groomer - last minute plan)! If I don’t exercise first thing in the morning it just doesn’t happen.

So tomorrow ..... hopefully 🀞

WTG Annieapple, sounds like a wonderful and enjoyable run πŸ˜€πŸ‘. You really have cracked this ... encouraging for those of us 'behind' you.

I must confess to being a tiny bit green eyed monster as I realise reading your post that you must live near the sea .... *dream* .... *sigh* ... must be incredible.
