Second run this week, and they have been so hard! Canā€™t seem to get it right! Been alot slower than normal. Dreading Wednesday now as I fear it will be a hat trick of rubbish runs!

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

You should never dread and run......it is counterproductive.

Try reading this healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Relax and enjoy the journey.

It will take a bit of time please be patient. You are asking your body to do a new exercise it's not easy. You say your going slow I wonder can you slow down even more it will help, honestly. You need to make sure you are drinking at least 2-3 litres of water per day and not just on run days.

C25k is an amazing plan and really does work you'll get lots of encouragement and support on here good luck šŸ˜ŠšŸ˜Š

Rubbish runs are normal and they make the good ones sweeter. Make sure youā€™re hydrating plenty the day before and slow down and slow down again.

Should have said second run this week of week 8. Donā€™t feels like Iā€™m making any progress at present!

I thought you meant wk1r2šŸ˜‚. I was on wk7 and wk8 for a few weeks as I found it tough. But I just kept going and finally got there in the end , even if c25k did take me 17 weeks to complete . It's definitely paying off now. šŸ˜Š

Hey, of course you're making progress. Just think about where you were only 8 weeks ago. The fact that you are out there doing it is success in itself, so stop being so hard on yourself and celebrate your achievement. Hope you enjoy Wednesday's run x
