Hi this is my third attempt at couchto5K and this time I’m determined to graduate. I’ve normally done it with a friend but she’s unable to do it at the moment due to a flare up in her rheumatoid arthritis so this time I’m on my own.

Third attempt
How can you be on your own , when we are all here?😊
Post your runs, you will get loads of support, advice and encouragement, and best of all, you can do the programme at your own pace.
Good luck 🤩
I’m hoping that in my own it will work better as I can just fit it in round my own stuff. I’m more of a jeffer really and although I’ve done two marathons I’d really like to be able to run a 5K
Hi DottyF, my third time also! Just run my week 1 Run 1 and felt great to be moving again. Downloaded some new tunes and enjoyed the sunshine. Good luck with your fitness journey. 👍😊
Thanks I did week 1 this morning too maybe we can cheer each other on
Definitely. Look forward to your next posting. Tuesday morning is my next scheduled run. Have a great day 😊👍
And you I’m aiming for Tuesday evening
Success! It was a struggle getting out of bed & I had plenty of excuses but I did it. Strangely felt accountable as knew you’d ask me but I’ll take anything to motivate me. Rewarded with a lovely run in a cool, dark morning with a little breeze. Enjoyed seeing the light gently increase. Hope you enjoy your evening run & it’s not too hot. Let me know how you get on 👍😎
Great for starting again. I did and still do run on my own apart from parkrun and I love it.
C25k is an amazing plan and really does work you'll get lots of encouragement and support on here good luck 😊😊
Welcome to the forum and well done on your decision.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
In my opinion you are better off doing C25K on your own, with no compromise on your pace.
Enjoy your journey.
