Well, it's taken nearly 15 weeks but finally completed Week 9 Run 3 this morning and absolutely amazed at myself. I have learnt/achieved a few things in that time:
1) It is actually possible to jog slower than I normally walk (the only way I could finish this programme)
2) After trying out many different shades of red I have decided that tomato red is the perfect facial colour for me
3) I never knew that running shoes could cost so much (but are worth every penny)
4) More importantly, I have stopped worrying what I look like (believe me it's very different to the graceful athletic image I have in my head) and not to worry about what other people think. I have done this for me, and only me
5) If I can do this, anyone can. Its not about pace or distance or passing or failing. It's about doing this wonderful programme in a way that suits you, in the length of time you need and feeling this amazing, buzz from finishing.
Onwards and upwards...

Congratulations! I agree with everything you’ve said including tomato red being the colour to wear. I’ve opted for very over ripe deep red Italian tomato. Happy running. 👏👏
