Last Sunday I jogged/fast walked the 20 minute run part...yesterday I jogged it π₯³ππ½ββοΈ
You wanna know how?!
I slowed right down!!! Folks, itβs true! Slowing down, not kicking your legs back, being able to hold a conversation without gasping for air, landing on the middle part of your foot...all of it has been learnt the hard way ππ»
I even enjoyed it! Who knew π
It really has been like a lightbulb moment π‘ I repeated W5R2 twice during the week to get the hang of slow jogging and knew I was ready for the 20 minutes.
I even had to stop myself from jogging all the way back home π
To everyone here doing the programme and graduates with experience leading to encouragement and support-thank you all so much ππ»
I did W4R1 yesterday and I found it hard going running for 5 minutes and the thought of doing 20 minutes by the end of next week has me scared to death. Well done on what you have achieved and thank you for the tips, I am going to try going slower (if that is possible as I think I go slow already).
Excellent! Iβve been banging on about this for months! Itβs fantastic & you can keep running this way. Iβve lost 5 1/2 inches from my waist using this technique so it definitely works!
Thatβs great to hear! I was expecting to lose a bit of weight-and last week I measured myself instead. I wondered if it might be body changes instead of weight ππ»π
Iβve definitely found that. I think as weβre making muscle (muscle being denser & heavier than fat) the scales donβt move that much early on, but boy does the tape measure! And this slow running is particularly good for stomach fat, which is great! I havenβt felt this fit and strong in blooming years - and all done slowly! x
