Hi all,

Just completed W7R1, so my second 25 min run. I am so pleased I am managing 25 mins!

But it’s still a struggle, after 5 mins my head tells me to give up, but then I get to the halfway point and it somehow gets a little easier, and before I know she’s telling me only a minute to go, and I even managed to push myself a little bit for the last minute (although still slow 😂)

My legs, hips etc still really ache after, but it’s feels so good to have achieved the run 😌

If you read the post in the link above this will explain why the start of a run is hard. Don’t worry it’s not just you!

The beginning of each run does feel a bit weird it just until your body catches up with what you're asking of it and you know it gets better. Well done you 😊

It's often called the toxic 10 (minutes). But as your runs get longer the percentage which is harder gets smaller, honest !
