So it was 2 years ago today that I signed up to this platform and started the C25K program.
I still cannot run 5K in under 30 minutes - but that is not the goal - the goal is to get us all running being healthier and fitter.
Two years ago I can honestly say that it was not as hot as it has been over the last few days, if it had been my "runniversary" would most likely be in a few days time instead.
I have to confess that through lack of sleep and exhaustion as a result I did not run yesterday or today (yet) but I am itching to get out. I think I have caught the running bug. It has been good to me so far, having lost weight and found time to enjoy my surroundings that bit more along with less huffing and puffing as I mount the stairs at the local shopping center.
After saying not for me I ran my first Half Marathon in June and am currently training to do the distance again for my own peace of mind and satisfaction.
Whatever stage you are at, never say I can't - keep believing in yourself and you will reap the rewards. I am 3 stone lighter and 10 years younger (one of these is not true). Keep putting one foot in front of the other and a smile on your face.
Happy Running all

Well done on your 2 years Richard. It makes you wonder what we would have achieved had we started this running lark earlier- but it’s never too late to start. Happy days.
Well done Richard. I am 4.5 years into this journey and have also never run 5k in 30 minutes. I doubt if I ever will, I left starting this far too late. I will probably never do a HM either, a 10 miler was quite enough! It’s amazing what can be done and how good it is for us to do it. Keep running!
Brilliant Richard! You've come so far in a relatively short time. It's incredible to see where C25K can take us. Keep going, who knows where it will take you now! 👍🏻😉😁
