Shin splints I keep getting them so stop and rest yet then I have to start all over again, they are so painful and went for a short run today and can feel them hurting already

When running try to land lightly and not thud thud it just takes some practice. Good luck 😊
I thought I had shin splints, went and saw a sports therapist turns out it is my IT band, he deep massaged my legs and done some stretches with me, feels so much better. Maybe try see someone? I was convinced it was shin splint but he confirmed it wasn’t

Shoes. I struggled with shin pain in W1. Went for gait analysis (even though I felt like a fraud), new shoes, and I've never had the problem again.
