Graduated yesterday morning! π though slightly disappointed that although running continuously for 30 mins - actual distance according to my watch (Garmin approach x40 primarily golf gps also fitness band) - I only achieved about 2.75 miles on the actual running bit π¬. Mind you when I think back to week 1 - when I thought Iβd die running for 1 min!! ππ
Any suggestions for further running apps to consolidate achievements so far - donβt have time for much longer than 30/40 min runs!

The Couch to 5k is a catchy name for Couch to 30 minutes of running. The next step is consolidation, and a ParkRun where youβll get a very welcoming and supportive 5k experience. My first 5k was 37 minutes. Some take longer. Some less time. Well done at graduating! π
I graduated in February and Iβve never got beyond 3k yet, so youβve already beaten me π Massive congratulations on your graduation π₯βοΈβοΈβοΈ !
Well done on graduation! You managed further than me - on Wk9R3 I did 3.7km, so I think your distance is pretty impressive.
Just trying to assess if I'm capable of doing Parkrun this Saturday, or if I need to do some more consolidation. If I do PR it is going to be in excess of 40 mins.
Congratulations! Thereβs the C25K+ podcasts, but theyβre really for after some consolidation. If youβre after half hour coached runs at comfortable pace, I highly recommend the guided run section of the Nike Run Club app... they have several awesome coaches, and some running legends ready to guide you through some 30 minute runs. Stay in the βshort runβ and βlong runβ sections for the time being.
Celebrate well, enjoy consolidation and all your future running adventures
Congratulations on graduating! Donβt worry too much about your speed now you can run for 30 mins youβll be able to go a bit longer until you hit the 5k. When I graduated I was doing about 3.5km in 30mins, in the 3 weeks or so since Iβm doing 5km in around 40-42 mins, honestly the extra 10 mins or so isnβt too difficult because itβs at a pace I can cope with. I think once you get comfortable with running the distance you can work on the time. I use mapmywalk as I started off just walking. Itβs pretty accurate and also you can sign up to challenges to keep you motivated. Hope that helps.
