Such a shame but things happen. Give yourself a rest day, and try again on Friday. Sometimes things - shoes, tech, colds vie to thwart us! It wasn’t really a fail - you went out, you ran, and kit let you down.

Hello! Just saw your last post was 6:3, what made you decide to go back to 6:2?

Sounds like equipment failure let you down. You’ll nail it next time 🙂

Ahh don’t feel bad. In the grand scheme of things, it really doesn’t matter. I graduated two weeks ago and all my runs are ‘repeats’ now!

There is so much to learn, I found. How to run, how to breathe while running, how to run slowly, how to overcome the gremlins, what equipment works best... and what doesn’t. I almost combusted on one run because I was wearing too much 😆 So don’t worry! There’s no hurry. You banked 18 minutes of running fitness and a useful insight into insoles today. 🙂

Be fair to yourself, these things happen. Tomorrow’s another day 👍

It’s just a minor delay not a fail, it wasn’t your fault if your insoles were not right. You’ll soon be back on track good luck and happy running on Friday

Oh noooo that’s so disappointing for you 😢. Had a friend who has run for years and had some insoles custom fitted and made.... cost a fortune too.... she just could not wear them, same problem rubbed heals and also made her arch hurt. Hopefully a days rest and Friday will see you complete this run. Good luck 🍀🏃🏼‍♀️😊

Never use the words fail, failure or failed here on C25K, sorry that you had stop at 18 minutes because of your shoes rubbing into your heals, better luck for Friday. 😊 I think if anyone buys running shoes they should what would you say ". "run them in" that means go for a brisk walk first before you have a run in them.

Yay .... :-) was really disappointed with Wednesdays run but nailed the whole 25 mins today :-) Got rid of the insoles and went a bit slower.... feel great I finished it today .....
