Glad your ankle is better! I’m a bit confused though - did massaging your foot with the ball help your ankle? I’m just having a bit of ankle pain today so looking for tips!

Good question to which I have no answer πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ I’ve got plantar fasciitis in that foot and I think that’s got worse and aggravated my ankle, because I’ve been compensating for it...it certainly wasn’t a twist or a strain. I wore the support yesterday and before that had rested and iced as it was a bit swollen. Then after using the ball yesterday it improved massively and I’ve run today with no pain, just a little niggle post stretches. But also have bit of arthritis in left wrist so maybe I’m just falling to bits!!! Anyhoo, I’m going with it. I’m a hefty package at mo as well so I would be naive to think k I would go from no running to 5k without the odd creak. Haven’t lost much weight yet as building muscle, hope it starts to shift soon, not least as would love to see how I could run a few stones lighter

That’s all very complicated to unravel! I suppose sometimes you just don’t know and just have to gently feel your way to getting better πŸ‘πŸ»

Sorry, that was a bit of a blah! I guess it’s just about feeling your way and finding out what works

Non no I didn’t mean you were going on! πŸ™ˆ Just that it just goes to show how complicated our bodies are, and how everything affects everything else 😊

I’m lost too - what is an Aldi ball and how does it help with ankle pain - I too hurt my right ankle last year and have tried everything to get it back to normal to no avail. Maybe realistically in my late 50’s it’s only to be expected - however I keep trying and am open to most suggestions.

Great to hear that something is helping you Vintage61.

Best
