Praise be ..... cheeky 5k completed thanks to my Aldi ball π€£
Brilliant that your run was more enjoyable. ππ
Yaaay, that's the ticket π...I'm just off out now to make the most of the nice cool and currently dry morning πββοΈ
Well done - glad you enjoyed the run π
Nice one Vintage! Day off for me - gearing up for consolidation runs next week!
Good to hear your ankle has improved and your run was lush! π I'm consolidating running 30 minutes 3 times a week, how amazing are we! πββοΈ
Glad your ankle is better! Iβm a bit confused though - did massaging your foot with the ball help your ankle? Iβm just having a bit of ankle pain today so looking for tips!
Good question to which I have no answer π€·ββοΈ Iβve got plantar fasciitis in that foot and I think thatβs got worse and aggravated my ankle, because Iβve been compensating for it...it certainly wasnβt a twist or a strain. I wore the support yesterday and before that had rested and iced as it was a bit swollen. Then after using the ball yesterday it improved massively and Iβve run today with no pain, just a little niggle post stretches. But also have bit of arthritis in left wrist so maybe Iβm just falling to bits!!! Anyhoo, Iβm going with it. Iβm a hefty package at mo as well so I would be naive to think k I would go from no running to 5k without the odd creak. Havenβt lost much weight yet as building muscle, hope it starts to shift soon, not least as would love to see how I could run a few stones lighter
Thatβs all very complicated to unravel! I suppose sometimes you just donβt know and just have to gently feel your way to getting better ππ»
Your Aldi ball? What big dress fake tan and heels type ball????? π
Iβm lost too - what is an Aldi ball and how does it help with ankle pain - I too hurt my right ankle last year and have tried everything to get it back to normal to no avail. Maybe realistically in my late 50βs itβs only to be expected - however I keep trying and am open to most suggestions.
Great to hear that something is helping you Vintage61.
Best
