So disappointed! Legs, knees ankles tendons ? still playing up after a week so no attempt

tomorrow to restart .

Any advice/support please . I just hope I can continue at some point . My fibromyalgia may also be the cause but hopes dashed after completing 2weeks .

Well done to all those that have graduated

and good luck to those achieving bit by bit .

Rest up is my advice. Don't push yourself like I did, could turn a small issue into a 10 week recovery.

Do some stretches and some foam rolling on you legs, a bit of brisk walking and listen to your body. If it starts to hurt slow down, if it gets worse then stop. There's always another day.

Have you read the guide to the plan? healthunlocked.com/couchto5... it is full of tips for reducing impact and stretching which may help.

Take another week off, have a look at the link that ianodatruffe gave you, and try some gentle stretching. Maybe go see a sports physio for some personalised guidance if no improvement, but don't give up.

As the others have said, rest is your friend! I was injured about six weeks into the programme. Rested for two weeks then started slowly and back again at week three. I also spent time running in the deep end of the swimming pool ie gently keeping the running muscles in action without the impact. Running definitely made me learn patience. Massage and foam rollers may also help. Sending you luck.
