Hi everyone!
It’s safe to say that I’m on a bit of a high today after having my new trainers delivered earlier on🤩🤩. I’m due to go on a run today but I thought it might be best to wear them in a bit around the house and put it off until tomorrow.
Obviously they’re not going to look this clean for long, but does anyone have any tips for keeping them cleanish? It’s throwing it down today so my running route is definitely going to be muddy tomorrow!
I just got mine which are almost very similar to yours (they look like asics to me but let me know if I'm wrong) and I wanna run in them so bad too but its my rest day hahaha!
Yes they are asics!! I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited to run! 🤣
Same! It's like a whole new shoe, my old shoes were so unsupportive apparently, the guy doing the gait analysis twisted them to show how little support they had, now I feel like I could run 10K (I wouldn't be able to now, but who says I couldn't later on right 😂)
Running shoe deliveries need to take rest days into account... I feel your pain! 🤣
If they’re muddy I rinse the excess off, stuff the insides with newspaper (actually have to go and buy one just for this 🤣) and leave them to dry. Damp cloths and wipes get virtually all that remains, as does a soft toothbrush... but I leave some on there so people can see that I’m so awesome I run in the mud 🤣🤪

I'm with you there, couldn't wear new shoes on a wet and muddy day, ha ha. I love the colour, I've got some casual trainers the same shade for the summer.
Isn’t it lovely! I actually only went with the colour because they were on sale but now I’m really pleased I did😁
Mine were in the sale, I guess the colour is no longer in vogue, but who cares?

Actually this is similar to a new bike. The first time it falls over and gets a scratch is actually a relief - you can start treating it like a real bike! You need to jump in a puddle and get it over with. 🤣🤣Enjoy!!!
Very funny you should say that - I actually ran with my sister along side me on her bike and she ran into me and got them all scuffed🤣 It came off nicely so it’s good to know they should be pretty easy to keep cleanISH but definitely a relief, you’re right!!
