Advice needed

Hi all. Hope everyone is well. So, I'm still not feeling better and I can't breathe very well but I'm hoping that in the next day or so I can get back to it. Will be a week tomorrow since my last run. So I would like some advice and opinions. Those of you who have returned after an illness break, did you go back a step and redo a run (or week) or did you go to the run you're meant to do? I should be doing week 8 Run 1 but I don't know if (at least) a week off will make that extra 3 minutes too difficult to aim at and maybe repeating an earlier run may be better?

Here is my very own Wonder Woman with Wonder cat. Just because I like to add pictures to my posts ❤️

Hi, MrsT, sorry to hear you're still not 100%, I'm going to leave the advice to more experienced people on here, hope you are back running soon. Beautiful pic of a beautiful girl, hope she has an amazing birthday. XxX

She had a fab party day today. She is very excited about her birthday on Monday though as we are going to Blackpool Sandcastle 😁

I've been known to go back a couple of weeks, see how that first run goes and then figured out where to go from there.

It's hard when you want to be out there, but be gentle on yourself - being poorly can take more out of you than you realise sometimes.

It might be worth starting with a week 7 run, just to see how it goes and then move on to Week 8 if all seems well.

Erica is so cute, hope she and all her friends loved the fabulous cake. Luckily I haven't had the IC problem, but I'd give either the W6 R3 a go, or try one of the W7s, you can't have lost that much in just one week, but the congestion may be a big issue of course. You could just do a practice run and see where you run out of puff.... hope you get back soon
