Out at 5 for a run, not been out since Sunday because of work commitments. Bones bit creaky, took a while to warm up and initially felt bit panicked...had I lost it? Dug in and slowly back in groove. Realise I love running and it is now part of me. How amazing is that. 3 times a week it is.

Great post. And fear not: you cannot β€œlose it” simply by missing a run!

Awful when the body doesn't seem to want to get in the groove, but so nice when we push through and it all comes together πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ˜

It is, first ParkRun on Saturday and really hope to run it all.

Best of luck for it vintage, you can definitely run it all, just don't go off too fast at the start. It's easy to get sucked into starting at the same speed as the faster runners, so find your own pace 😊

Nice post! I’m now about 15 months in and I get those days where the body doesn’t want to start. I think these runs make us even better runners for getting through it.

I think so, the digging in bit can be very satisfying
