Well done Skeg! I decided to go for steadily increasing distance after c25k and left pace alone for ages. Long slow runs work best with my 67 year old frame! Fantastic effort 😊

Thanks. I'm thinking the same distance and strength are more important to me and I guess my ageing bones than pace. Enjoy those walks.

Congratulations... forgetting age and background you should still be very proud of those results by the way! Celebrate well, then enjoy consolidation and all your future running adventures

Thank you. The older one gets the more you learn you have to pick yourself up and get on with it. Your profile shows you have done that so you should also be proud. Keep going.

I’m never quitting running... and I never want to have to start again! I plan to run in my 70’s but starting in your 70s is truly awesome.

Thank you. I've browsed through the link before but will reread again. Pre this course I had sat on the couch and given up on setting targets, now 2 spring to mind. A Walsall Park run and just around the corner a hill the local runners club use - its tough but a challenge I'm aiming for.

thanks, I've just invested in some new Brooks, a pair of special bunion socks (which cost me a fortune) and I'm lacing them the 'bunion way'. So I'm hoping to run like a gazelle now with pain free feet :)
