I had the most lovely run this morning. Oldfloss, who inspired me to run Pwllheli park run last Saturday was kind enough to share a run with me. It was a slow and steady coastal path run out from Criccieth as I am here on holiday.
I don’t have the poetic lyricism that Oldfloss does: my run reports are usually brief and factual, so maybe OF may add a few words... I was a bit under par, not sure why, but it was such a joy to run with a like-minded soul. I usually run alone and I suspect OF had to take it slowly for my super-snail pace, but the speed wasn’t important: the joy of the run and the wonderful company was what made it special. The beautiful scenery on a calm and clear (and warming up rapidly) morning was the icing on the cake!
I hope to be back at Pwllheli on Saturday for the bigger VRB’s meet up, but it rather depends on holiday plans on the day.
Happy days, and happy running x
