... for the final run of C25K! Done it!

Week 9 has actually been quite hard. It's the mind thing, really. Breathing's fine, legs are fine, but my head doesn't seem to get it. I'm glad when I've finished a run but I don't enjoy the process. I really want to keep on running regularly so I think I'll go back to Week 6 and repeat every run until I find it easy, mentally and physically, and making sure I go out every other day. Sound like a plan?

Well done and congratulations.

Yes, it sounds like a plan. When all is said and done, enjoying your running is the most important thing and that will only come about when a 30-minute run can feel comfortable.

Congratulations! Whatever keeps you running is the right thing to do. Don't be worried though if you find it tough going for awhile. I've been running for a few years now and some runs feel tough, with no rhyme or reason, and the first 5 minutes feels hard for me at least 75% of the time.

Congratulations graduate! Time to celebrate 🎓🍾🏅⭐️

That badge looks great!

I would say that sounds like a good first plan. Enjoy your running 🏃🏻‍♀️

Very well done! I have to say I felt the same as you when I graduated. I was pleased to get there but didn't quite love running at that stage. However, since graduation I have felt more free to do my own thing, i guess I feel more ownership of my running rather than doing it because the programme told me to, so now I LOVE IT!! Maybe you'll be the same? Now I run because I want to, and don't feel I have to. Sometimes I haven't been able to run through illness (just colds, nothing major) and then really needed to get out there again. I hope this makes some kind of sense and I also hope you start to love it too one day :)

Thanks, loisamelia! I've had a couple of post-graduation runs now, first thing on the morning instead of mid-morning, which I always did before. I do like running in the early morning. It's quieter and calmer tho I must admit I don't exactly leap out of bed in anticipation. Hopefully that will come. Long may you continue to love your running!
