Completed WK5 R2 and can see the next one is 20 minutes!!!

Abit apprehensive as I barely made it the 8 minutes. Any top tips on getting through it?

Well done on completing wk5r2 in this heat. Don't worry about run 3 all the the runs you've done previously have prepared you for it. Just go really slow drink loads of water . You can do it 😊😊

Trust the program. You have been gradually building up to it. Take it slow, pick your route and believe in your progress. You can do it!!

You can....did mine yesterday and once you get going, it sort of gathers momentum!

I know what you mean, I got "stuck" there, after completing w5r2 I never continued, the w5r3 of 20 mins is more psychological I reckon, I am sure you can do it if you pace yourself.

I'm starting the whole program again, but very determined to graduate this time! w4r1 would be my next run.

I’m doing wk 5 r3 tomorrow and I’m so nervous about doing it! It’s a mental barrier I think but you’ve got this!

Good luck x

Courage. 😊 Don’t rush! Setting off too fast is many people’s problem. And it’s worth know that for many of us, the steady (slow) running has actually been easier than the start-stop-start style of training. Good luck, and do choose a cool time of day. 👍
