So I did wk8r2 this morning and enjoyed it. Tomorrow i go on hols for a week. Please tell me I can have a week off and still be able to pick it all back up again when I get back? I’m toying with doing wk8r3 in the morning even though it’s rest day. Right or wrong?

Yes you can have a week off . I was away for 1 week also and picked up again no problems. Enjoy your holiday 😊

Ah thank you. Feel a bit anxious about taking a week off. Daft isn’t it!

You are more likely to be able to carry on after a week's break than if you run on consecutive days... (can you pack your running shoes though? Holiday running is great!)

Am hiking in (hot) Spain so much as I’d like to take running shoes I can’t carry everything sadly

And you worried you might lose fitness doing that hard core thing? Hahahaha. Have a great holiday, hope it doesn't get too uncomfortable and you'll be fine picking up the programme when you get back.

In my experience, I doubt a week off will make any difference, enjoy your holiday running can wait. Don't be tempted to run 2 consecutive days, have the rest.

A week off should be fine. There will always be times when holidays, illness, work and life in general get in the way but you won’t lose fitness in a week.
