Just finished W5R3. It's the first time I've jogged a whole mile in at least 22 years -- and I jogged around 1.4 miles in my 20 minutes. I'm very happy.
I'd also rather like a beer now, but I suppose that would defeat the purpose.... yes?

Congratulations to you Oerygl on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran.
No harm on having a beer to celebrate your run AFTER you run. 🏃 😊
Have a beer. 🍺
Well done you and yes you've earned that beer 😊🍺
👏👏👏 just into W5 myself and looking forward to Rs 2 & 3 with interest....in so many ways!! 😂🤣🤣
Well done!
I had a beer... and some pizza.
My next run is week 5 run 2,really struggled with Plantar pain since week 1,ive had my gait tested, £120 on trainers, still getting issues but this week I worked for a sports physio who advised deep tissue massage on calfs and a golf ball to sole of foot, I used a rolling pin on my calfs and golf ball and it actually helped, I'm concerned for run 3 but will give it all I've got
Podgy 50 year old me also completed wk 5 run 3 this week. Definitely up for G&T but on we go to week 6. Hurrah!
Headed into week six and realised long legged young men walking to work were passing me by. At the end of the run, even the older ones were but I have felt truly happy heading out around the Park. Hope you did too. I try and channel Sir Mo at these times though it is a bit of a struggle bearing in mind the obvious differences. I am doing Serpentine swim in a week's time so I remind myself that if I can wear rubber head to foot with the word Orca written across me, there is really no limit and after all it's just a walk in the park!
